Sean, Emmet and I have been in our new home for nearly eight months now, and hardly a week goes by when we don't mention what a fantastic job you did in helping us purchase our townhouse. In working with you for a full year, you saw us completely re-evaluate where we wanted to buy and how much we wanted to spend, and every time we considered a new version of what our future home might be, you were there with hot-off-the-presses research. I've never worked with anyone in any industry who was as responsive as you were to our every thought and query.

You even sleuthed out an amazing mortgage option for us. Even though I had taught for five years in a public school, I had no idea that as a teacher I might be eligible for a CalSTRS mortgage that would lock in a low, fixed interest rate for the life of the loan, and require a much smaller down payment than the mortgages we were considering. You gave us the information about an upcoming CalSTRS mortgage seminar, and after attending, we realized that it was going to make purchasing a home in Santa Cruz much more affordable for our family.

When it came time to iron out the details after the sellers accepted our offer on the townhouse, you were extraordinary. There were times when I was ready to throw up my hands in frustration over what seemed like countless niggling details, but you calmly and quite capably guided us through the process; there is no doubt in my mind that ultimately the purchase would have fallen through if it weren't for your Herculean efforts.
